We are Hub City Cycles Community Co-operative, a not for profit that has been a fixture of downtown Nanaimo since 2012. Hub City runs on a donation model where we repair and recondition donated bikes and offer them for sale at fair prices. We also run a full-service repair shop and have a plethora of new and used parts and accessories on hand. Our co-op is governed by a board of directors and is operated by a group of paid worker members. A lifetime membership costs only $5 dollars. Members are able to attend board meetings, vote on our AGM, rent shop stand/tool time, take our mechanic courses, volunteer and redeem volunteer hours for used parts, as well as receive insurance perks through the Cooperators.
