Open House: E&N Trail – Downtown South Alignment and Costing Study
Please accept this invitation to participate in an Public Open House to review potential route options for the E&N Trail from Franklyn Street to Seventh Street.
The City of Nanaimo, with support from the Nanaimo Region Rail Trail Partnership, is completing an alignment and costing study for the downtown south section of the E&N Trail. The study will weigh the benefits versus the costs of different trail alignments both on and off the rail corridor to identify a potential route that provides a high quality experience while being cost conscious. The Public Open House is an opportunity for members of the public to review potential routing options and provide their ideas and preferences for the route. The open house will be a drop-in event with staff and consultants on-hand to discuss the study and hear your ideas.
