Gears are wonderous things on a bicycle. They help us to adapt to the terrain, allowing us to power up hills and surge down flat sections. So, at the next Hub City Women & LGBT night on Tuesday, August 6th, we’re going to learn how to get the most out of our gears. We’ll take a look at what parts are used, how it all works together, and how certain gears work better in certain environments. Also, we’ll learn proper gearing techniques that help ensure long life for your bike’s components and, more importantly, how to easily troubleshoot and repair common gearing problems.
Workshop led By Jessica Skelton.
