Ever been curious about what goes into building a strong, sturdy wheel? Always wanted to learn more about spoke tension, cross patterns and rim centering? Join us on June 12th as we delve into the details and learn the basics of strategic wheel building. We will learn how to make correct hub and rim measurements to determine spoke length and then work together to build up two fabulous wheels!
All proceeds will support Beeyond a Bike’s mission to empower women, LGBTQ and other under-represented communities through bicycle education. Funds raised through Wonderful Wheels will help purchase tools for a high school bike program in South Africa.
As with all Hub City Cycles’ workshops, this event is women and LGBTQ friendly!
