We have decided to try something new based upon feedback from members. Starting this Friday and continuing every second Friday (see calendar) we will be open from 6:00pm till 8:00pm for members and volunteers only.
For members this will be a great opportunity for you to wrench or work on projects outside your normal nine to five schedule. This will also be an ideal time to come in for instruction.
For volunteers, there are many opportunities to learn and help, whether it be helping build bikes from scratch, organizing parts, or many other tasks around the shop. Any volunteer time you put in you may exchange for your own personal shop usage time. This is yet another way we are helping provide affordable bicycle services to the community.
So come on down, hang out, do some wrenching, network with the community and escape the heat in our brick walled bike cave. Please keep in mind that we strive to keep our shop a welcoming space for all, and everyone must adhere to our shop policies during this time.
