Unfortunately we are not offering courses at this time. Advanced Mechanics courses may resume at a future date, based on instructor availability.
Hello soon-to be-bike mechanic!
We regularly run courses for Basic and Advanced Mechanics. Contact us for more information.
You are not registered in a course until you pay your $50 deposit. Course placements are first-come, first-served. Course must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the first day.
Current Status of 2017 Courses
1. Send us payment along with the preferred course date.
You can pay via cash, cheque, debit, credit, e-transfer or PayPal to firstname.lastname@example.org.
2. Prepare yourself!
You may pick up your manual early once your course is paid. (This is strongly recommended and a good way to get a jumpstart on the course, so that you can focus more on the hands-on portion)
3. Bring a bike!
You are strongly encouraged to bring your own bicycle to work on. If you don’t have a bicycle to work on, we can loan you one from our project bikes to work on. Alternatively we do sell used bike frames for $40 and have many to choose from. Please be aware that any parts from the shop that you install on your bike you must pay for. We have many new and used parts.
We will also have a build bike that we will be teaching you repair skills on. At the end of the course, this bike will be put up for sale in our shop.
Course-takers get a
- 10% discount on the first month of a monthly shop usage package.
- 10% discount on tools, including multitools
- 10% discount on new parts in-store
- Our general goodwill :)
We look forward to working with you.
